Alpha Australia hosted the ‘Every Generation – Alpha National Catholic Conference’, which brought together 250 leaders from 21 dioceses. 

The conference focused on intergenerational renewal and building ecosystems for evangelisation and an invitational culture. Alpha Australia identified youth engagement as a crucial catalyst for renewal, highlighted by the launch of the new Alpha Youth Series during the conference. 

In March 2025, over 3,500 Chinese-speaking Christian pastors, church leaders, marketplace leaders and believers gathered for Revival 2025 – Global Chinese Alpha Conference. 

This landmark gathering, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, drew together attendees from across the globe to connect, share, pray, and equip themselves for a global Chinese revival.

A woman’s sewing centre became the unexpected place where faith began to blossom.  

 Women who had never set foot in a church gathered with open hearts for Alpha. Six women made the life-changing decision to be baptised and shared their stories with their families. One woman, Sania, shared:

 “I always felt abandoned in my life, but now I know Jesus loves me and listens to me.”  

The Alpha Balkans team, based in four of the eight countries of this beautiful region, held their first-ever meeting in 2025 to plan, learn from one another, and celebrate what God is doing through Alpha. 

In October, Alpha was introduced to 150 evangelists and pastors from across the Balkans who gathered in Bosnia. The new Alpha Youth Series was recently launched in two Balkan languages – Albanian and Serbian – and is already impacting churches in the region.  

Made For This  is Canada’s national prayer campaign focused on turning the heart of the church toward the emerging generation. 

Launched in May 2025, the vision is to see every high school in Canada – over 5,000 of them – prayed for by a local church. Since September, the team has sent weekly prayer prompts to participating churches, highlighting student stories, spiritual needs, and moments of hope.  

Life Connection Church in Kuwait began in 2006 with 22 people and has now grown to over 62 congregations in Kuwait alone, plus more than 50 other churches in other countries. 

Alpha has been a major part of their church growth. One factor that has made Alpha so impactful in reaching people is that Alpha groups are offered around the clock to accommodate people in different jobs or seasons of life. For instance, groups are run at 2am for restaurant workers who only return home very late, while mid-morning groups are offered for salon workers during their lunch breaks. 

Nicky and Pippa Gumbel attended a symposium on communication and evangelisation at the Vatican.

In a closing speech, Nicky shared his journey with Alpha, the importance of focusing on evangelisation and church renewal, the compelling need for Christian unity, and the vision for 2033.  

The Alpha USA prison team expanded their partnership with Prison Fellowship by creating an online training program designed specifically for their ministry: “Alpha 101 Prisons.” 

Prison Fellowship uses Alpha as one of its primary resources to serve thousands of inmates.

God is actively working throughout the UK in remarkable ways through Alpha, and we are thankful that more than 10,000 Alpha courses ran across the UK in 2025, representing an estimated 25% increase from the previous year. 

Especially significant is that, due of the launch of the new Alpha Youth Series, youth courses have more than doubled, a clear sign of God’s movement among the next generation and the fruit of focused resources and prayer.

Richard from, Nairobi was struggling with addiction and had lost control of his life. He was at his lowest point when he decided to try Alpha. In Alpha’s welcoming and non-judgmental environment, Richard experienced Jesus’ love. “Before Alpha, I didn’t even know how to pray. Now, I wake up every single morning to pray. It’s become my lifestyle.” Today, he passionately shares with others that “Alpha was my turning point. It’s where I found Jesus. It’s where my life truly began.” 

In Lima, 2025 was defined by a spirit of unity, as experienced Alpha pastors gathered to encourage new churches to take their first step on the Alpha journey.

Despite the challenging political climate, our Alpha Interest Night served as a vital catalyst for connection, bringing together 250 attendees from 13 different churches. This momentum has allowed us to launch a strategic training plan across various districts, beginning in Comas and extending to Chorrillos and Central Lima.
