Alpha is active across 22 countries with national offices in 12 countries. Our biggest year of growth was seen in 2023. The power of contextualised film series fuelled much of this growth – in particular, the Asian Alpha Film Series and Alpha Cantonese Teen Series, which represent the major Asian languages: Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Hindi, Tamil, and Cantonese. Close to 8,000 Chinese Alpha Film Series courses have taken place since the launch in 2022.

A highlight for the Asia Pacific region was hosting the Global Chinese Alpha Conference in Singapore. This was a historic moment for more than 1,000 pastors and leaders who were gathered.Β

The Alpha Regional Gathering (ARG) has become an annual highlight, hosted by the Alpha Hub in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Strategic church leaders from across the Asia Pacific region come together for an impactful week-long event that transcended generational, denominational, and ethnic boundaries, fostering a sense of kingdom unity.
